Salamanders Terminator Squad by laundryhamper Salamanders Terminator Squad by laundryhamper
Terminator Assault Squad of the Salamanders Space Marines chapter, from the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40k by Games Workshop.

Most Space Marines chapters make a number of Terminator suits available to the finest veterans of their first company, and the Salamanders are no exception. The blacksmith's hammer is an important symbol to the chapter, and as such they commony go into battle wielding mighty Thunder Hammers.

Yeah, I've used them quite a lot. I play them as a very aggressive short range force. Lots of short range firepower with meltas and flamers in my tactical squads, and a squad of assault terminators in a land raider redeeemer to smash apart the really big stuff.

well, i was gonna do a more long ranged version of their army. I'm confused on what i should take. I mean people keep telling me, get rhinos, but if i don't want to have to get close, then whats the point?

Rhinos are pretty useful in any mission that requires you to capture objectives, which is 2 out of the 3 standard missions in the book. They're cheap enough (points wise) that fielding two doesn't take away a huge amount of points, so they're a good "just in case" unit to have around.

Those look great, wouldn't mind some behind shots to see the cloaks.

Looks nice. I'd love to see the detail on one of the shoulder pads. Those flames look pretty sweet.
